What is Manglik dosha?
Manglik dosha, also called Mangal dosha, Kuja dosha or Bhauma dosha, forms when Mars sits in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th house, counted from the Lagna or the Moon. It is traditionally linked to tension, delay or friction in marriage. But its strength depends on Mars's sign, aspects and the full chart.

Can Manglik dosha be cancelled?
Yes, and it is common. In many situations Manglik dosha is reduced or fully cancelled: when Mars is in its own sign (Aries or Scorpio), exalted (Capricorn), in a friendly sign, or aspected by or joined with Jupiter or Venus. The effect is also said to reduce with age (usually after 28). So even a severe base dosha can end up effectively cancelled.
